Carepack
is back! On the long awaited 7th release nearly the whole Carepack
family comes together delivering some hot tunage for the dancefloor.
B-Phreak presents with „Punchfunk“ again his distinctive production skills. After releases on Fat!, Mofo and Splank he ties up to his first Carepack release „Take It Back“. With a thumping bass and loads of funk „Punchfunk“ brings a very diversified tune and kicks off after the breakdown. Audiotrucs are responsible for the four to the floor remix. Already known for their breaks releases as Mighty Fruitz on Carepack, these guys also have a soft spot for electrohouse, which they have shown lately with a Malente remix on Azzidio da Bass’ „Louscious Sound“ Imprint. Their „Punchfunk“ remix is constantly pushing and full of intoxicating sounds - guaranteed fun from the first to the last beat. The last remix, done by the labelowners themselves goes in another direction. The Crash House Brothers work with the original sounds and deliver a powerful mixture of breaks and techfunk, like they have already shown on their latest releases on Systematica and Ritmic. |

On
Whit Sunday (May 27 2007) the 12th Carnival of Cultures takes place
in Berlin. The Carnival of Cultures is of special importance to
Berlin's ethnic communities. They see it as a challenge and an incentive
to reconsider their view on the culture in their respective country
of origin and define their cultural self-image "between two
cultures". The involvement in carnival activities strengthens
the bonds within ethnic communities and among all the groups alike.
Their presence in the national and international media lead to a
growing self-esteem within ethnic communities. Therefore, the Carnival
of Cultures promotes the awareness for the positive impact made
by immigrants on Berlin's cultural and social life. Carepack

| After
a long break, there will be new sound on Carepack Records. And on the occasion of relaunch of the label, we have changed the design of the web page something. Some contents are not available yet, but we will complete this as fast as possible. Please, have patience. The very well known B-Phreak will start with his track "Punchfunk", with Remixes of the Crash House Brothers and the Audiotrucs. The release date will be May 2007. The future releases are published exclusively digitally. However, it is not to be excluded for the future that Carepack Records publishes again on vinyl. But till then only digitally. In relation of that, we have extended our list by other digital distributors. Beside Release Records and Juno Records, you can buy our releases on Track It Down and Beats Digital.
